Antonia's Lofaso invites you explore her inner world by the food she cooks. Her food elicits a curiosity that developed from stepping out of the suburban areas of Long Island and into the culturally diverse environment that is Los Angeles. Cavatelli and Carnitas can be found to live in harmony on the menu, an assumption that has developed through many years. All of her dishes share a single vision, embracing the present as well as reminiscing about the old. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in 2013 and was immediately very well received. Lofaso has been praised for her interpretation of traditional Italian cuisine. Food at Lofaso is delicious, welcoming and delicious. Lofaso worked as an apprentice to culinary masters, absorbing their techniques and taking risks. She did not hesitate to do so to follow her intuition. After quickly rising to the top of the ladder She transformed a variety of Los Angeles high-profile restaurants while being in contact with celebrities. Lofaso, Sal Aurora, and Mario Guddemi partnered to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City in 2011. Lofaso found her place within Black Market, and through the partnerships that she created. Lofaso would find the freedom to create the work she wanted through the collaboration. Black Market has no one direction in mind and that's the way it goes. It could start with Dill chips and then Shishitos peppers. Next comes a Korean wing and finally meatballs. Antonia, the chef behind this mouth-watering menu of bold flavors is what anchors everything. Lofaso assesses the success she has had all through her career on the basis of her natural ability to understand her audience and stay authentic to who she is. Her appearances on the Top Chef Chicago episode and Top Chef: All Stars highlighted her capacity to be her self outside of the culinary environment. In the years since she's continued to pursue her professional career before cameras as a CNN's Restaurant Startup Judge, as well as recurring appearances on the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child.
