Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass is a Greek-American musician and founding of the heavy metal band Motley Crue. Lee Bass is also the band's long-term drummer. He also co-founded Methods of Mayhem, an the rap group. Lee has also been involved in solo music projects. Lee supports PETA as well as animal rights. In 2010 Lee sent a letter to Terry Prather, the president of SeaWorld protesting the treatment given to Tilikum the orca. Lee believes that the animal should be released. He also stated that SeaWorld did not agree as Tilikum is their main donor of sperm. Lee wrote that he was appalled by SeaWorld's sick and twisted methods for obtaining Tilikum sperm. Lee said he was trying to stop tragedies such as trainers being killed as this was the result of the whales' inability to be held captive.
